DUO Coiffure & Beauté is a salon run by two sisters. One looks after your hair, the other your body. With over 10 years' experience behind them, they asked me to give their brand identity a little refresh.
The brief:
- Redo a price list that was more in tune with the times.
- Create a visual for gift vouchers
- Create a gift voucher for the festive season (2023)
- Create an Instagram account with all the features that go with it (posts, stories, highlights, etc.)

1. Price list
Their fist leaflet had pictures to illustrate the different services they offer but they wanted to get rid of those so we chose to replace the pictures with simple and light drawings.
The leaflet was printed as a folded DIN Large format.
2. Gift voucher
The key word was "something simple and small". I suggested a double sided A6 with the main informations about the salon and different spaces to write down the gift's details.
3. Gift voucher for the festive season
This voucher was created before the "gift voucher". The size is also A6 with the main informations about the purpose of this voucher. They always want to go "to the point", nothing more, nothing less.
4. Social Media
They were only active on Facebook and wanted to have a presence on Instagram as well. We discussed the different types of post and story they wanted to upload. They also wanted to be able to edit the visuals they would post so we decided that the easiest way for them to be independent would be to use Canva.
I prepared some post and story types and gave them a training on Canva, that way they can handle their social media by themselves. I am always one phone call away if they need anything regarding the app, the visual or the direction they want to take.
- Basic post with list of treatments performed
- Basic "Before/After" posts (4 versions so far)
- Before/After with more details
- Basic posts with a specific product or treatment put in the spotlight
(Everything related to the hair treatments will be used on the version with a blurred picture of the salon, for the nails it will be on a blurred picture of the cabine where the nails' treatments are done and finally the massages, waxing,... on a blurred picture of the cabine where the body's treatments are done)
- Basic promotional / sales posts
- Instagram highlight design for both hairstyling and nails care
(I'm currently still working on new designs for them to create new highlights, we discussed the different "theme" they want to add and the next designs will be : price list, before/after (hairstyling), eyelashes, beauty care (massages), makeup.)
